The Shepherds Neuk Daviot lies in the historic valley of Strathnairn 6 miles from Inverness 175 meters above sea level.

Is the gateway to the Highlands and so many places are accessible for a day trip...from The Isle of Sky, Mallaig, Plockton, Aberdeen, Aviemore...etc.

  • Historic Places - The Highlands has many Historic places to visit including Culloden Battlefield with visitors Centre, Castles, churches etc
  • Whisky Tours - Where to start?... Tomatin Distillary, Glenlivit, Glenfarclas, Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich Black Isle brewery and many more... There is a tour bus available from Inverness.
  • Cycling Routes - There are many cycle routes around Inverness and passing Daviot.
  • Loch Ness - Why not take the Jacobite five star boat tour down Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle.
  • Activity Centre - Locally there is an activity centre where they have quads, archery, shooting and music festivals.
